Historically, this was the first CBS football team ever and what a great beginning it was.  The team, coached by Jim Franklin, ended the year with three wins and three losses and earned a first seed rank in the T.A.A.C.S. state playoffs.  Full contact eight-man football has brought a level of excitement amoung students and parents that we believe will continue.  CBS is looking forward to a wonderful year in athletics with a mindset to improve the standard of excellence that has already been established.

The purpose of Central Baptist School is to work with the Christian family and the local church to develop Christian character and the spirit of excellence in academics and extracurricular programs.  Our desire is to prepare students to serve and represent Jesus Christ in their communities. In sum, our mission is to pursue academic excellence while preparing students for a lifetime of Christian service.
